Pray

An $80billion industry and 80% include women and children. %50 percent of these are children. What could I possibly be talking about? Disney company? Toys 'R' Us? No. Americans are so detatched from this reality that when statistics include women and children are first thoughts would be that this is something of great fun and life. But this is not to be.
This statistic is the face of the sex trade that happens all over the world including America. As long as we can't see it doesn't exist right? Turn our back and everything is okay. How many people feel that way about the problems in this fallen and depraved world?
Often, in other countries, families have to sell their girls to this dispicable market just to survive another day. Some willingly place themselves in this situation because they are led to believe that it frees their families from the bondage that has been placed on that family due to loans to live. The girls are promosed a future, education, freedom but in place of those dreams are nightmares of holding cells, shattered innocence and death. Seems overwhelming doesn't it? I have to admit that I can't even wrap my mind around something like this and I feel as though I could not do anything. But God has allowed me to write to tell others about this that others may be called to help.
Good news is that we can bring freedom to these girls. One girl (about 14 years) was held captive in a small room. As a virgin she was worth more but as these horrible acts to strip her of her innocence continued her worth became drastically less. Forced to do unspeakable things in a windowless pink room from 5pm to 5 am and then held in another small room hope seemed to disappear. But an organization dedicated to freeing these slaves found her. They told her of God's hope and truth and she was free. Now she helps other girls that are brought to that very same room. God reigns even in the deepest evil.

Can I get a Witness!

What an exhilarating feeling I have had today! Nothing beats the feeling you get when God allows you the privilege to lead a person to Christ. The interesting thing about that is that He doesn't need us to do that for Him. He's God! He could find any other way to lead a person to Christ but he grants us that permission to be a part of this glorious event. We don't deserve that great privilege at all. Yet, it is a simple request He makes of us when we ourselves have devoted our lives to Him. Spread the Word! That is the least we could do for Him since we fall so short of the Glory.
Today, I had the opportunity to lead someone. I am ashamed to admit that I may have had lots of opportunities in the past that I allowed my indirectness to get me out but today God took over. I allowed Him to and it resulted in me leading that person in the simple prayer to accept Christ as their Savior.
Hallelujah!!!!!! Amen Another beautiful child of God!!
